Are you ready to create a life you crave? Let's spin that doom loop of negativity into an upward success cycle and start living lucky.
Speaker 2:Good morning.
Speaker 1:I'm Janne, I'm Jason and we are living lucky. We're talking about change. Today, jason heard a statistic that's pretty astonishing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, in the next 10 years we're gonna have more progress or advancement than we have in the last hundred years combined.
Speaker 1:So that means we need to learn how to adapt.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and a lot of times we go through life and we're just being changed, like we're just reacting to the situation, we're kind of pivoting, we're going with the flow instead of being that change agent.
Speaker 1:So if we don't learn how to change, we're gonna end up like the dinosaurs.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we're gonna end up in the back and we know what happened to them.
Speaker 1:That's right.
Speaker 2:There's another statistic that says well, we won't even go into more statistics, let's just focus on the change. No, let's go into more statistics because I know how you like to make them up, I know 97% of all statistics are made up and I just made that up.
Speaker 1:According to Jason.
Speaker 2:That's right. So one of the things about change for me is that we, if we, can stay just intentional in our daily practices and then go back to what's true and what we know within ourselves.
Speaker 1:But people think they're being intentional, but the truth is we get into our complacency bubble and we get into our comfort zones. We become a little mediocre.
Speaker 2:I hate to say this, but we do when the hard situations come up that require a kind of an influence on change we sit back and see what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1:Change is hard. Change is hard for most people.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Because it requires us to get uncomfortable.
Speaker 2:It was hard for me for the longest time because, a I didn't want to make waves and B I was in my mind. I was saying you know what I'm gonna be okay with however it turns out, and that's true, you're gonna be okay. Usually, however, it turns out, if you have the right perspective on it and if it's in alignment with where you want to go. But oftentimes we allow ourselves to just get kind of pushed one way or the other or we start changing our our alignment to meet the change instead of changing the situation to meet our alignment.
Speaker 1:Okay. So I have a situation where I've decided to intentionally grow instead of getting left behind. I've decided to take a course in AI technology.
Speaker 2:AI mastery technology.
Speaker 1:AI mastery. They're calling this the Harvard Stanford graduate degree of AI, which is artificial intelligence Top 0.1% of people in AI. And I've been accepted to this program. So I don't even, I don't even, I've never even done AI. I mean, I've done it to like Google. I use it like Google. I literally use it to do research or say, hey, you know what are people talking about and even though it's like three years behind, I still use it for that.
Speaker 2:Well, one thing is, people don't really change. I mean that's what.
Speaker 1:That's what we're talking about today. Now you're. Now you're contradicting our conversation.
Speaker 2:I'm not contradicting. What I'm saying is we have to change that.
Speaker 1:If we don't change, then we get changed oh.
Speaker 2:Mark that right.
Speaker 1:if we don't decide to change ourselves, then the outward, external world will change us, that's huge and we end up being react reacting reactive Reactive thank you, I was looking, I was like react to Tori, I was making a word.
Speaker 2:So proactive and responsive, yes instead of reactive, which reactive is like a knee jerk. He the moment. This is what I'm gonna. Like someone slaps me, I'm gonna slap him back around the cry, or I'm gonna yell instead of. How do I respond to this? Yes, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually. What is the best course of action?
Speaker 1:Yes, so I've been hearing like, like the quote you opened up with, that the world is changing faster than ever, exponentially. We're gonna have more progress in the next 10 years than we've had in the last 100. And I have decided that, being in the intellectual property, in the content creation, in the speaking business, I decided that I could really use the AI technology because I would love to clone myself. That's one thing. I would also love for this AI technology to kind of start taking some of the some of the administration work.
Speaker 2:I mean, if there's simple questions that get asked all the time, can AI just put something in a memory bank and say, every time I hear this question, I'm just gonna provide an answer.
Speaker 1:like to provide it like this yes and tell Janna hey, this is what you need to be Keep kind of keeping a thumb on the pulse of what I need to be up to date with, kind of doing my research for me it's basically an employee. An assistant and I need an AI assistant check in all the time pay that I don't pay.
Speaker 1:I mean, I know there's a subscription to it, but do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you don't buy benefits you don't have to worry about its feelings or showing up on. I can program it.
Speaker 2:This is how you feel about that.
Speaker 1:I don't have to buy Christmas presents, or do I? I do hear that you have to be nice to your AI well, you don't want to terminate our situation right. Does that happen? If you don't? Now? You're scaring me if you don't think it.
Speaker 2:If you don't say hey, I really appreciate that you're. That was a great answer. That's exactly what I'm looking for.
Speaker 1:I would do that because I appreciate I'm nice to even my furniture and like please don't curse around our furniture because it gets stuck between the cushions and that's funny, it's true though. It is true, if we're nice to our things, they're nice to us, right my dad song.
Speaker 1:This is why we can't have nice things and my mom used to say that when I was little. But my dad always told me, if you're nice to your car, it will be nice to you. So I'm gonna be nice to my computer. But my whole point of this is that it is a little bit I don't want to use the word scary, but there is a lot of unknown. Taking a class with a bunch of Techie people I mean, I don't even know if they're techie people. Maybe they're people like me that just want to learn and are curious, but the way that the course was advertised it made me feel like this is gonna be like you're, already upper echelon, and yeah, that I'm already behind the curve because I'm not already using it in my everyday life.
Speaker 1:I just want to learn how to use it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it'd be nice if my how it can benefit. Could knock out the spam emails in my email account oh my gosh wouldn't that be so great. But give me what I need to have.
Speaker 1:Or even if I could just you know, like right now I need to call the vet and I need to call the groomer and there's some things that I need to do with the AI could take care of that for me. That would be really nice. Can we program it to do that?
Speaker 2:No, tell him what's coming on my.
Speaker 1:Okay, so my whole point, though, is it is a little bit Uncomfortable because I you know, I have done the the pre course work for this, and some of the things they're showing me that I can do Is a little like it can write a book for you in your own voice. That's a little bit weird, because I've been spending the last three years trying to write my own book.
Speaker 2:Well, there's a lot of things that we do, so this is basically systematizing a lot of the things that we do normally on a day to day basis that take up a lot of space time.
Speaker 1:It can do all of your social media posts and I am like you know what I I hate to say this because I love social media. However Is it's one I don't have time for everything, so it's just one of those things where I've had to Not spend time doing it because I just don't have time. I don't have time, and so that's one of the things that has gotten push to the back burner and I know many people are like well, how do we find you? How do we know what you're up to? How do we know where you're speaking? How do we know how to get involved with your events or your workshop, so Even our upcoming challenge that we're doing, how do we know how to get involved? And I I look at them like a deer in headlights because I say what you know I have time to post on social media you can just go to our website.
Speaker 2:that how many websites are there?
Speaker 1:But even our website, our website, you know trying to keep that up and it's not gonna happen it's just been a lot. It's a lot to run a business all by yourself. Now I'm not complaining. I'm not complaining because there's nothing else I'd rather do. But if, if this technology can help me keep up with the change, the exponential change that you're talking about, that would be great if it's the new hammer or the new sword.
Speaker 2:That is the tool in everyone's toolbox.
Speaker 1:We should be able to use that as as well as anyone else now, or better before we go any further, though, I want to say there is a little fear, so I think the word I wanted to use before and taking the classes, apprehension. But there's also a little bit of fear in that. You know, you and I are talking about all the wonderful things that technology can do for us, but there's also a little bit of fear in that what if it takes away my authenticity? What if it takes away my ability to be no-transcript, unique and my individual voice and my personal touch that I put on little things? You know what if I systemize things and it kind of makes me like everybody else?
Speaker 2:Well, that was part of what we talked about in the beginning also, where it says if you don't get involved with change in the beginning, then you become changed by the change. Yeah, so I think this correlates with not being intentional up front, stepping in with faith and having that intention of where you want to take it so a direction, and then allowing that to guide you, so that you are constantly ahead of where you want to take this new technology for yourself.
Speaker 1:And I guess, like I have learned my entire life, education is always everything. So if we can educate ourselves and then make our own decisions on how we want to use it or whether or not we want to use it at all, that's up to us. But at least we will know how and we will, like you said, not be left behind or be ignorant about what everyone else is doing, because the last thing I want to do is be working so much harder, trying to get everything done and looking around going how come everyone else is making this look so easy? What are they doing that? I don't know.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because when there's that sense of I'm so far behind, how do I catch up? Yes, that's really when most people start to lose control of their ethics or morals. Like it's a survival, they get busy. Being busy, yeah, well, you turn into, I just need to catch back up.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:And by the time you caught up, you're they start taking shortcuts. Yeah. So this is where it's so important to a. I think our challenge is coming up is going to be so critical for people because it's going to allow them to really tune into themselves, figure out exactly what's going on inside, what they want, really dial into some truths within themselves so they can navigate change better on a daily basis, not just in the next five to 10 years, but every moment they have an opportunity to make a decision during the day.
Speaker 1:So if you're wanting to make a change in your life, sign up for our challenge and we'll teach you how to go within and find your inner voice. Thanks for joining us today.
